Has anyone used Home Loans Canada (HLC) before and if so did it benefit you?

How was your experience and would you recommend it to anyone. I am wanting to get a loan and I have been talking to somebody through Home Loans Canada but don't know if I should go through with it or not. I am just wanting to know if anybody out there that had bad credit used them and if it was successful.

1. HLC is owned by CIBC, i know a mortgage associate that workd for them in Alberta. All loans first had to be submitted to CIBC first, no matter if the loan could be placed at a better rate somewhere else. HLC is not an independant brokerage, i'm not trying to knock them but they have to send your deal to CIBC first. They may not offer the best deal for you.
