applying for job @Countrywide next week they are giving me a personality test, I failed it 1yr ago, whatdo i do
Oh, I didn't realize I would have more space to write, but now I can be more specific. I failed the "Personality Profile Assessment Test" or whatever they call it at Countrywide Home loans a year ago, it was a computerized test, multiple choice and took about an hour. I think at the time I tried to answer the questions in a manner which I thought they were looking for, but I failed. I didn't make it to the interviewer! It was crazy because i am excellent at what I do, every one loves me, I look great, I have a fantastic attitude, I don't know what they are looking for. Should I just answer the test honestly this time? Now that I think about it, I suppose I just answered my own question. However, any info would be greatly appreciated as to where in the world did they come up with those crazy questions. I Still have over 167 characters left to type, but I shall spare you the now 108 6 4 2

- Maybe you have a better personality than a year ago and you'll pass.
- If you tried once to answer the way they wanted and failed, I'd avoid that tactic again. Just go with honesty. The tests can be faked out, but not by anyone of average intellect.
- Hi, if you do not answer them honestly then you will fail them. We used to administer and write tests like this at one of my old jobs. They have trick questions and other psycho-crap built in to tell if a person is telling the truth. I am not a huge fan of these tests - even after seeing them "behind the scenes" and understanding their purpose and the way they operate, I still feel that they disqualify excellent candidates on a regular basis. My advice is to just be honest... if you are honest and still fail, the likelihood is that it is for the best... you probably would not be happy there.
