Are there unsecured personal loans out there for people with bad credit? I am tryingto pay off my truck. I only owe 10,000 on it. What I want to know is if there are loans out there for people with bad credit?
I am looking for places to get unsecured personal loans for 5k or less any ideas, other than my local bank? I am not looking for loan sharks or any other questionable source, so please only serious answers.

Where is best place to get personal unsecured loans? I am looking to consolidate all my bills and be able to bring my three grandcholdren here for X- Mas. My credit is considered poor score575. I have tried CITI, Capital One and they won't lend me any money. All my bills are current and have been for a long time. Question regarding unsecured personal loan payments to CIB? Someone told me this, and I'm sure it's a lie. Someone told me he has an unsecured loan for 35,000 $ LE at CIB, and if he doesn't make even one payment, that will create a case against him and he will go to jail. Is this true? It sounds super harsh, and quite frankly, sounds like a big fat lie. Wouldn't the bank begin collection activity first? And if that didn't work, wouldn't his/her account be sent to a collection agency after that? Immediate jail seems so far off from reality. I've never heard of jail time for unpaid bank loans.
