Anyone have Wells Fargo Mortgage & in Default? We currently have a mortgage w/Wells Fargo and it might end up going into default. Has anyone experienced this situation WITH WELLS FARGO? What kind of negotiating are they doing?
Wells Fargo Mortgage Payment not posting? I had made an additional principal payment of $200 on May 2nd of 2008 through an internal bank transfer with available funds. Today on May 12th the amount is yet to post. The bank only apologizes but the amount is yet to post. Is there any legal point supporting me? What are my rights?

When you refinance your home mortgage with the same mortgage company like wells fargo, do they? do they look at your credit report or just how you have paid them
We were approved for Wells Fargo 100% financing mortgage with a 6.5% rate (locked) w/PMI – program ends? We were approved for Wells Fargo 100% financing mortgage with a 6.5% rate (locked) w/PMI – this was two days ago. As of yesterday Wells Fargo announced they are ending this program. Now when our credentials were sent through the software we were denied (by debt to income ratio by 2%). The loan officer has sent the mortgage to the underwriters at wells Fargo for clarification and review. What are the chances they will honor our locked mortgage application? We are mid-transaction with the lawyers and inspection. UPDATE - We took an option for no PMI higher int. rate.
Has anybody had any issues with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage company?? I am just curious b/c my mom has been talking to them over the past few months b/c we haven't been able to make our payments and they kept telling her that there are programs, but there was nothing they could do, but yet they have sent letters telling her about hese programs, but when she would talk on the phone to them they told her there was nothign she could do. I am just curious b/c now that we got the foreclosure notice it says that there are ways to stop it from happening, but it's like why didn't they tell us about these so-called way BEFORE this happened. Anyways has anyone else had any issues with Wells Fargo?
Looking at Working For Wells Fargo as a Mortgage Consultant? i am considered for hire for the job but really like where i am now and dont want to leave unless i know its really better, are there any people on here allready working for wells doing this job can you tell me if its profitably?
Has anyone else been screwed over by Wells Fargo Home Mortgage? Just wondering...would make me feel better to know that we aren't the only ones. Won't tell the whole long sordid story, but they have really screwed up our account and taken our credit right down the drain. We had a loan modification agreement with them within the past few months and, per the agreement, there was 3 months that we didn't have to pay. We were not told that, even though that is the agreement that we signed, those 3 months were reported as delinquent to the credit bureaus, and once we started making our monthly payments again, that money goes into a "holding account" (still reported as delinquent) until the account is updated...which may take 6 months. Not that our credit was squeaky clean to begin with, but we could get a credit card or car loan if we wanted. Now we can't get anything!! Well's Fargo wont even send a letter to say that we are current so that the bank will give us a car loan. There are way many more mistakes, that is just the tip of the iceberg. Also, when I called to make my May payment, they said I had already made it. When I assured them that I didn't (unless someone set up unauthorized auto withdrawal) they said that they had received a check from me (don't write checks) the previous day and had the money there. They said I should just wait to see if it comes out of my account. It never did and they are still insisting that I paid, but now saying I'm $100 short. A supervisor is looking into our account (yeah right) and has told us that it is so messed up that it will take a while. Anyone else had these kind of problems with them? What did you do to resolve it? We are considering hiring an attorney. Thanks for any advice.

We are getting a mortgage through Wells Fargo.? Originally our mortgage broker said we were going to get this great mortgage that included 100% financing, a 6.3% interest rate and NO Private Mortgage Insurance. Now, as the paperwork is coming through, our interest rate is up to 6.8% (which we are ok with b/c I know until we lock this in it could still go up), but now I just read that we have PMI. WHAT THE HECK?! Is this something that I should question or just go with the flow? Were we stupid to believe that we could get a mortgage without PMI and not 80/20??? What are your thoughts...

Who do I pay my mortgage to when GMAC and Wells Fargo say they Bought my loan. First payment Due 10/01/07??? Bought my First home in Mid August and the first payment is due 10/01/2007. The original lender sold it and now 2 companies are saying they have it. Both have the same info and both say I need to pay them when I called each one. Pls answer below your personal knowledge (but general info - no location or personal data) on what good, bad, indifference. For example I have my mtg nearly 15 years with them. I pay auto direct deposit. On the 2nd of each month, I'm getting call reminders, which I find highly insulting! However when I became disabled they worked with me when I couldn't pay several times. A Wells Fargo financial rep recommended that I go with a 10 year ARM (adjustable rate mortgage) is she right? How does the 10 year ARM work? Does it vary after the 10 years or during the 10 years? I don't know if I trust Well's Fargo and their reps. She sold me a package that locks me into a 10 year ARM for 6 months and 60 days from close I can lock into the lowest rate at a time I choose. It cost me 1% of the purchase price of my "soon to be built" home - non refundable. I heard alot of people getting in trouble with a ARM. Please any info would help.

What do you think of Wells Fargo Bank? I have had sooooo... many issues with Wells Fargo bank. Just want to give everyone a place to vent about them. Tell me your good or bad stories with them. As for me, they have lost my deposits on several occasions, screwed up my escrow account twice and that is just to name a couple things. I can not tell you how much money they have cost me. I have cancelled all of our accounts with them except my mortgage and my student loans but I am looking to refinance them elsewhere.. sometimes it is just the principal of the matter. Can you make more than one mortgage application at a time? My wife and I applied for a mortgage with Wells Fargo. Yesterday evening we were told we were denied by computerized underwriting and it was now going to manual underwriting... I was wondering about starting an application with a mortgage broker in case Wells Fargo denies us...our offer was accepted on the house (didn't get the contract yet from the seller) so I don't want to waste any time... 1) good idea? 2) can you have multiple applications at one time? Wells fargo gave me a commitment letter for a fha loan a month ago.but still no mortgage from the underwriter? They have asked me for more then what than what the guide lines require like 3 months bank statement instead of two things like that . My bank statements say I made 15,000 in the last three months and My monthly new mortg would be $600...I have no bills.one late payment in two years It has been 9 weeks since we started going round and round. I have missed three closing dates.....What the heck is going on...has this happend to you?

I was a mortgage branch mgr, then regional manager from 2004-mid 2007, pulling in about 150k-220k a year. my company went under and now currently working as a personal banker at wells fargo making 45k. My home is in foreclosure, can I file for bankruptcy? We are going through hell with attorneys from Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. In May we refinanced with another company and paid the payoff amount. Several weeks later Wells Fargo' attys refused the check stating it wasn't enough ($4,300). HUH?!!!!! Our closing atty went to court saying they can't do that. Judge disagreed. (What the hell was he thinking) He ordered wells fargo to accept the check, stop interest from accruing, and work with us to form a payment plan. Attorneys Wouldn't talk to us. Throughout this they are foreclosing on us. This check is still outstanding!!! I called Wells Fargo directly and they said well gee, you were only short $1,090.12. We offered to pay that to clear this up. He said that sounds reasonable to me and a supervisor. Check back on Monday to verify. I've since been calling everyday (1.5 weeks) with no one returning our calls. It will cost more to pay an atty than pay the debt. Meantime we are paying our new mortgage every month. HELP???!!!
Can someone plesase tell me what kind of proof i need to be able to sue WELLS FARGO for discrimination in...?? in their lending based on disability? I know that is why my mother has not been able to work with them, but I need to konw what kind of proof we would need in order to prove it. Also is PETA or any ohter animal rights' group involved in the foreclosure crisis and the fact so many animals are being abandoned? Is there any grounds to sue any mortgage company for abusing thousands of animals by putting them out on the street too? I mean they can't defend themselves so it's not like it's their fault. Do you think it would be wise to take stock in Wells Fargo?? It doesn't seem that they are hurting much, yet stocks are falling.. Or were.. Wells Fargo for mortgage and 2nd mortgage??? we have our mortgage throught a credit union. we do have some credit card balances/debts which we are paying off. We wanted to pay one payment to pay them off. Long story short, we have talked to Wells Fargo and they are giving us a good rate to transfer our mortgage plus for a second mortgage. My question is we have never dealt with Wells Fargo before, so what do you think abut wells fargo??? their rate is good, but I don't want to ride myself into something, so is it better to stay with my credit union for my 1st mortgage or is Wells Fargo safe?? Wells Fargo Broker Lied about Closing costs, do I have any recourses? I live in FL and recently bough a condo. Developer offered a 6% $ back if we went with Wells Fargo. Good faith estimate included paid HOA fees for a year, covered by that 6%. On closing date the title company was 2 hours late (8pm) and she was rushing. When we were done there was no one from the sales or mortgage office to hand me the keys, give me security codes or anything. Weeks later I start getting bills from the HOA saying I owe them $$. I spoke with the WF lady and she said they were supposed to be paid, and she would take care of it. It's been 3 months and there is now a lien from the HOA on my condo. They say the 6% did NOT cover their fees. According to them HUD shows HOA fees being paid to the Master association and not the HOA (we have 2 HOAs). Even though I have docs from the lender that say both should be paid.Is there anything I can do to get my money? I feel cheated and lied to. She also forgot to mention the $300/mo PMI. A nighmre I don't knw wht to do!! :(

anyone have an eye on current mortgage rate trends? I am buying a home and the rate right now for my loan is 6% (Wells fargo Home opportunities loan 100% financing). Conventional is 5.875 and that is down from last month so I am wondering if I should just lock in my rate or if it is expected to go down more or up soon? Negative credit reporting how can i clear this up? My mortgagecompany issued me a moratorium for 4months (postponed payments)due to hurricane Wilma. This Hurricane displaced us for a couple of months and caused an extreme Financial hardship. The mortgage company(Wells Fargo Home mortgage) has on their records that they will not report any late payments and/or there will be no negative credit reporting.However, after i sent the payments and checked my credit report they indeed reported 120 days late payments to the major credit bureaus. When i talk to the represenatives they indeed see the notes about not reporting late to the credit bureau and even waived every late charge,but are adamant about not removing the negative reporting. I was a loyal consumer and my lateness was due to "acts of Nature" beyond my control. Initially the moratorium helped our family, but in the end it has really hurt my credit worthiness. I am having difficulty securing another home loan (sold previous property)because of the negative reporting. What can I do?

How Eager would Wells Fargo be to recieve a payoff on my Michigan home Loan? As the question stated plus at a lower price since the houses are not moving here. There is no way I'm investing in this house only to lose my money in a sale. The problem is that there are non-profits building houses with mishda funding around here.How can I compete with a brand new house @130,000 ,not to mention the City incentives of 10,000. Where can I get the best deal on a home mortgage? My income is not large, but have excellent credit and will pay 20% down. I've been "pre-approved" but am looking for the best deal, and was wondering if anyone had an amazing referral to somplace I've missed. I've looked into Ditech, eloan, Wells Fargo, and a local broker, and will contact ING Direct too. Any other suggestions of banks, online lenders, etc. would be marvelous, though preferably not individual brokers at this time. I'm just trying to get the best deal with the few pennies I earn, so I'll be financially happy when I move into my new home. Thanks!
mortgage interest question !!!!!!!!!? lender sold my mortgage to another wells Fargo, i made 1 payment to the wells Fargo in December before the year was over, my question, do i combine the interest from both lenders on the tax form together or is there another way that this is to be done on the tax form !!!!!!
Mortgage application: denied by automated system, now going to manual underwriting? I was hoping that somebody experienced in this area might be able to shed some light on things... My wife and I have had our offer on a home accepted, and we applied on Friday with Wells Fargo for the mortgage. I calculated my own DTI's (we are applying for an FHA mortgage because of credit problems) and we fall withing the 29/41. I have some tax debt, collection accounts and an open judgment that are all being satisfied on 12/15. My middle credit score was 557 and my wife's was 585. The down payment will be 3%, and it will be borrowed from my 401K plan. The seller agreed to a $14K seller consession so we could finance the majority of the closing costs. The sr loan officer told my wife that the "system" didn't approve it, so it went to manual underwriting today. We definitely have the income to make the PITI payments and our monthly obligations...so the credit is the concern... What happens in manual underwriting? any idea what % that go into it get approved?

I am behind on my house payments; is there any Federal help available? I was laid off from my job a few months ago and have fallen behind on my house payments. I live in Los Angeles, CA. I owe 570k on a home currently valued at 450k. My loan is with Wells Fargo? I spoke with a negotiator that is fedexing me a package with different options such as short sale, loan modification, temporary payment plans, etc. He reviewed my situation and told me it was in my best interest to do a short sale that they will approve with me and that it will not hurt my credit so long as I continue to pay my mortgage each month and they will say it was an agreed amount paid in full on my credit report. Can someone with less than one year work experience with $28,000/year income be approved for $168,000 home? I was - with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. They said my excellent credit helped 730 and because I was preapproved with MidAmerican Home Mortgage. Now, for the dilema. I signed a contract to buy a house for $168,000 and was approved for the loan pending my financial situation doesn't change (this was in Feb. 07) The house finished build date was about Oct. 07. I locked into a rate at 6.125 using 1% non-refundable down. I am not making enough money now to afford this place, so I told them I want to back out. THEY WON'T let me! The builder wants me to pay for the upgrades even though I notified them of my status before the upgrades were put into place. And, I can't get any of my 1% down back even though I can prove I cannot afford the place. HOW DOES A BANK EVEN APPROVE SOMEONE IN MY FINANCIAL SITUATION FOR 168,000 in the FIRST PLACE? IS THIS LEGAL? Do I have legal recourse if they try to sue me for the upgrades or "breach of contract?" -----Please HELP!

I was workingfor a company Prudential Real Estate when the wells fargo "Lender" that worked with me he had his own branch in my office told me i could get a home loan even though i was making COMMISSION only and probably only $1,000 a month. My Mortgage is $2,200 a month for a very small condo here in Modesto that was built in 1980 and is only worth $200k and they sold it to me for $235K. What i am upset about is what they told me and not disclosing ANYTHING to me i have ALL of my documents and no good faith etc was given to me and my Interest rate changed 3 points when they sol my loan to EMC. The Lender from Wells Fargo told me to write a letter saying i made $4,000 a month doing Notaries a month and that would get me the home loan! Well it Did and with a Hefty Price and a Mortgage I cannot afford and nobody will refinance me because i had to file bankruptcy because i could not afford the payments anymore at 27 years old on my own and only making $2k a month, and a Mortgage of $2,200 a month which is more than i make not including money i need to eat!!!!! Negative credit reporting how can i clear this up? My mortgagecompany issued me a moratorium for 4months (postponed payments)due to hurricane Wilma. This Hurricane displaced us for a couple of months and caused an extreme Financial hardship. The mortgage company(Wells Fargo Home mortgage) has on their records that they will not report any late payments and/or there will be no negative credit reporting.However, after i sent the payments and checked my credit report they indeed reported 120 days late payments to the major credit bureaus. When i talk to the represenatives they indeed see the notes about not repoting late to the credit bureau and even waived every late charge,but are adamant about not removing the negative reporting. I was a loyal consumer and my lateness was due to "acts of Nature" beyond my control. Initially the moratorium helped our family, but in the end it has really hurt my credit worthiness. I am having difficulty securing another home loan (sold previous property)because of the negative reporting. What can I do?
The Bank is stating a lower credit score than my report says? I am applying for a first time home buyers mortgage, and the bank (Wells Fargo) ran my credit. At about the same time, I ran my own using freecreditreport.com and got all 3 credit bureau reports. The Credit Score the bank is reporting is almost 100 points less than any of my credit scores I obtained. I called to ask about this, and they re-ran my report and got the same low score. What gives?
Is this ethical or unethical? Legal or illegal. How does one pursue this case? I signed a Purchase Agreement in February 2007 to purchase a Hubbell Home in Waukee. According to the purchase agreement, I had to obtain a "loan commitment or loan denial" by April 21st. Basically a loan commitment would mean I must purchase the home when it is ready or I could be liable for all costs and a loan denial would have meant I can't buy the home, therefore I am not liable to Hubbell for any costs. In April, I recieved a "loan commitment" from Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, based on my credit rating of 751, my assets of $20,000 and less than 1 year of proven income totalling approximately $28,000. From what I've heard recently from many people is that I SHOULD NOT have been approved for a $159,000 mortgage based on that income and less than 1 year income. But I was. And Wells Fargo says I was approved because my credit and assets. Since then, I have lost my job. – The home still isn't complete yet (new construction) and I CAN'T back out of this purchase because my "commitment" was already approved back in April. Hubbell plans on taking action to recover costs against me if I don't buy this house.
Mortgage assumable? What is the catch? My husband and I have been interested in buying a house. We recently relocated to this area and have taken our time to find a house we like. We found one but it says this: Mortgage is assumable for qualified individuals, current mortgage is about 120K with 30 year fixed rate of 6.625%, loan via wells fargo native american lending dept. must be a member of any Native American tribe to qualify for assumption-requirements are NOT BASED ON CREDIT SCORE. Any feedback is appreciated. (We are Native American, so I don't think that is a problem). What does this mean?
Tax question reguarding my mortgage lender.? When taking deductions, I have to enter the name of my mortgage lender. My mortgage payments have switched around to different loan servicers over the span of my home ownership. For instance, right now and for the past year and a half, I have been making my payments to Home Eq Servicing. The Loan was issued by Wells Fargo, when teh house was bought origionally. So do I enter my current recipient, or the origional Wells Fargo?
Can someone with less than one year work experience with $28,000/year income be approved for $168,000 home? I was - with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. They said my excellent credit helped 730 and because I was preapproved with MidAmerican Home Mortgage. Now, for the dilema. I signed a contract to buy a house for $168,000 and was approved for the loan pending my financial situation doesn't change (this was in Feb. 07) The house finished build date was about Oct. 07. I locked into a rate at 6.125 using 1% non-refundable down. I am not making enough money now to afford this place, so I told them I want to back out. THEY WON'T let me! The builder wants me to pay for the upgrades even though I notified them of my status before the upgrades were put into place. And, I can't get any of my 1% down back even though I can prove I cannot afford the place. HOW DOES A BANK EVEN APPROVE SOMEONE IN MY FINANCIAL SITUATION FOR 168,000 in the FIRST PLACE? IS THIS LEGAL? Do I have legal recourse if they try to sue me for the upgrades or "breach of contract?" -----Please HELP!
