Has anyone ever used capital one personal loan? Applied for it lastweek, no mail offer, I am waiting for the result to turn out. I seriously doubt that I would get it. I did put down a co-signer. Both of us have fair credit. What would be the best alternatives in case they deny it?
Capital One Personal Loan, was I rejected? I applied for a Capital One Personal Loan and I was told that my application is being processed and that I would hear from them in 7-10 business days. Do I still have a chance to be approved?

Where is best place to get personal unsecured loans? I am looking to consolidate all my bills and be able to bring my three grandcholdren here for X- Mas. My credit is considered poor score575. Should I ditch Capital One, and get a new credit card? Hey Guys! I'm Alex, and really need your advice on this subject. I currently have a Capital One Visa credit card, but seriously thinking about canceling it because I've heard so much BS about that company. That they don't report the right information to the bureaus, and will most likely end up hurting your overall score. Should I ditch them and get a credit card with my bank which is Banner Bank Visa? Would that be a better idea than to stay with these cynical ass holes? What are advantages of owning a Banner bank credit card, is this a good movie? Can I have all your honest opinion's please...no smart remarks. I know that canceling a credit card ruins your score, but what's the point staying with Capital One my score is already ruined right? I want to develop a good rating score for when I need a personal loan/auto loan or whatever it maybe. Thanks in advance. Alex What credit card would you recommend, one is that accpeted everywhere, great rewards, cash back, etc? All your help is appreciated, I wanted an American Express but turns out that is a bad idea?
I need an emergency Personal Loan. About $16000.00 ASAP. How long does it take to get the money.? Does the Bank need the purpose(s) for this Personal Loan? Is there a limit for the amount of the personal loan? What's usually the interest? Is Capital One a good choice for Personal Loans? Thank you for your answers

can i get a personal loan secured by a judgement lien? i won a 35,000 dollar personal injury lawsuit which has not been paid yet. my attorney filed for a judgement lien on the property. there has been a lien on it for awhile and i'm starting up my own business and need some working capital'but my credit is poor. can i use the judgement lien as collateral on a secured loan. thank you for your time.
I took out a $55,000 personal loan to open a business. The business was sold within a year. Is loan deductable Because the business was sold within a year, my accountant says it was a capital gain, and that only the loan interest can be deducted from the capital gain. How can this be? I had to use the proceeds to pay back the loan. I now have an enormous tax bill, both federal and state.
Has anyone heard anything about First Point Loans or First Capital Group? www.firstpointloans.net My credit score is not good, and they approved me for a personal loan but it is secured meaning I have to pay upfront. I have never taken a personal loan before, so I wanted to know if anyone knows anything about this company. I have to make a collateral payment upfront before the funds will be released, and the collateral payment will be applied directly to the principal of the loan and will not act as a fee in any way. They are located in Kansas... Just trying to do some research before I commit because I cannot afford to be ripped off. Thanks!
If I gave you ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS.....would you co-sign a personal loan for me? my email is austinmtshasta@aol.com, write to me and ask for my number if your interested in helping me. life partner got loan over the phone and added my name to it. She died and now they want me to pay.? My life partner secured a personal loan from Capital One over the phone. She added my name as a secondary responsible person without my knowledge or permission. She told me she got the money from her family. My partner passed away during the holidays; now Capital One says I have to pay the balance of the loan or they will ruin my credit.
Has anyone ever sent, then received loan money from Rockwell Capital Group in Miami Florida? I am asking because I have been approved for a personal loan. They want a collateral down payment for the loan that can be sent to them in a money gram or casheers check, then, within 24 hours they will deposit the loan amount in my checking account. The Florida BBB has them listed as a non member, but states, "Company has had no complaints in 36 months." Thus, has anyone ever completed the process with Rockwell Capital Group and actually received a loan? I have read where people have almost done it, got half way through doing it, had their money stopped and returned through the money gram office etc., but has anyone actually completed the loan process with this company?
Anyone ever heard of or worked with Save Capital Finance out of Canada!? I have been pre-approved for a loan for $20,000 from Save Capital Finance in Canada. Their email address is www.savecapitalloans.com. My concern is I apparently have to pay $958.00 for insurance on the loan prior to receiving my loan. Sounds fishy to me....is this normal practice for doing a non-collateral personal loan. If you have any info. I would appreciate hearing from you very much. Thanks.
Are there any loans out there for a struggling masonry business? Keep in mind that my personal credit stinks.? Im looking for a loan or advice on what financial institution i could contact to get me over this hump. If i can survive till may i will be fine but i need some working capital, pay my ins, rent for garage and other operating expenses. Ive been in business for 2 1/2 years. I recently just got back stabbed by a former partner so now im in a big mess. I will be ok if i can make it till may but a small loan ($30, 000) or a flexible line of credit would help me greatly. I dont have any collateral and im behind on my taxes. I do, however have bank records of lots of deposits and a hoistory of healthy movement. Please keep all of this in mind when you decide to give an answer. Thank You all for your wisdom.

Amcapital loans ALERT!!!!!? COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS OFFICE OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS AND BUSINESS REGULATION 10 Park Plaza - Suite 5170, Boston MA 02116 (617) 973-8700 FAX (617) 973-8799 TTY/TDD (617) 973-8790 www.mass.gov/consumer DEVAL L. PATRICK GOVERNOR TIMOTHY P. MURRAY LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR DANIEL C. CRANE DIRECTOR FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: April 19, 2007 CONTACT: Kimberly Haberlin (617) 973-8767 (617) 947-8942 Consumer Affairs Issues Consumer Alert on Advance-Fee Loan Scam And Pay Day Loans BOSTON - The Office of Consumer Affairs and the Division of Banks today issued a consumer alert warning consumers about a potential advance-fee loan scam and an illegal pay day loan operation recently advertised in the Boston Metro. ADVANCE-FEE LOAN SCAM Advance-fee loan scams generally involve the promise of easy credit regardless of credit history. Upon completion of a loan application, the entity requires a consumer to wire a percentage of the loan amount, various fees, or payment of insurance in order to secure the loan. Upon collection of the fee, the loan is never delivered. Amcorp Capital is operating a website at www.amcorpcapital.com. The only contact information provided on the web site is a toll free telephone number and an email address. The web site also lists a business address of One Boston Place, Boston, Massachusetts. Amcorp Capital claims to offer mortgage loans, education loans, personal loans, and automobile loans. This entity is not licensed by the Division of Banks and calls to the company have not been returned. An investigation by the Division of Banks has determined that no such business is located at the One Boston Place address. Moreover, the Amcorp Capital’s web site was apparently created on April 11, 2007. Similar to other advance-fee loan scams, the website promotes the availability of easy credit regardless of credit history. Based upon discussions with consumers, Amcorp apparently requires, upon completion of a loan application, that a percentage of the loan be paid up front directly via wire transfer. The Office of Consumer Affairs and Division of Banks strongly urges consumers not to do business with this entity. “This has all the earmarks of an advance-fee loan scam,” noted Director of Consumer Affairs Daniel C. Crane. “Consumers should know that no legitimate lender would require an upfront payment to secure a loan. Consumers should also be extremely cautious when dealing with companies that you do not know. All efforts should be made to safeguard your personal information such as bank account, credit card, or social security numbers. For more information on advance loan scams please see information from the Federal Trade Commission available at http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/tmarkg/loans.shtm. ILLEGAL PAY DAY LENDER Director Crane also announced that Commissioner of Banks Steven L. Antonakes had sent a letter to the Boston Metro requesting that the publication cease accepting print advertisements from pay day lenders. Commissioner Antonakes sent a similar letter to the Boston Metro in February 2005 and the newspaper, until recently, had not run advertisements for pay day lenders. “Pay day loans carry exorbitant interest rates and can quickly lead consumers into escalating debt,” said Director Crane. “There is also a high risk of identity theft as this company’s advertisement provides virtually no identifying information.” Commissioner Antonakes added, “There are no payday lenders licensed or based in Massachusetts. Under the state’s small loan law, annual interest rates on these loans are capped at 23% and fees are limited to $20. Pay day lenders typically charge annual percentage rates averaging 300 percent and fees averaging $30.” Pay day loans are short term, small sum, high rate, unsecured personal loans that use consumer checking accounts (either post-dated checks or electronic access) to secure repayment of the amount borrowed. Repayment of the full amount and lender fees are typically due within 14 days or with the borrower's next paycheck. Partial payments are rarely allowed so if a borrower can't repay the full amount within the required timeframe, the loan is usually rolled over for additional periods of time and additional fees. If you believe you have been a victim of this advance-fee loan scam or pay day loan operation, call the Division of Banks’ Consumer Assistance Unit at 1-800-495-BANK (2265). DON'T FALL FOR THIS COMPANY!!!

How many credit lines should I have? Right now I have two credit cards. An american express with $2600 limit and a Capital One with a $1000 limit. I recently went to apply for a personal loan in the amount of $5000 but got denied everywhere. My credit score is 668 and im told that is ok. They say my lack of credit lines is the main reason I got turned down. Any Advice?

I pay everything on time each month never was late or anything. My dell and capital one credit card i pay off in full each month. I applyed for a capital one personal loan for 3000$ for 2 year. Take the 290K net profit to pay off some debt and pay 70K capital gain taxes or do a 1031 exchange.? I will net a profit of 290 K from sale of a property; I also have a debt of 130K personal loan at 10% interest rate and another 26K from 401K loan. which is the best way to do pay off all my debt and pay capital gain taxes around 57K plus depreciation recapture around 6K, or use all the net profit of $290K to do a 1031 exchange? Or any good combination that allows me to pay off some debt with the minimum capital gain taxes?.
If I would like to become a private lender in wisconsin, lending my own cash, what is the first step? I would like to lend retirement capital and make a little cash. I only want to lend it for small personal loans, and don't want to become a full fledged bank. can i do this. and if so what are the first couple of steps that need to be taken.
Where can I get a small auto loan (under 7k) with reasonable rates? Banks tend to not lend less than $7,500. for a car loan. The rates for a personal loan are ridiculous! (If you happen to be perfect they will do 8.99% - at a score of 656 I am not perfect) Please don't suggest Capital One - they also have this same policy about not lending for these rates! In the dealerships they will give me a 9% rate (although they are making a kick-back there) I would like to come in with a loan. Help!
Is it possible to set up your own business with a bad personal credit rating? Just interested. Due to a lot of problems we've been living on a severely low income and so haven't been able to keep up repayments on our credit cards, loans etc As a result our credit rating is destroyed. We've been to CAB and are making token payments to our creditors which is all we can do right now. We keep being told that way out of financial problems and the career dead end my other half is in is to set up our own business and work for ourselves. However as we have no capital, and I presume no bank would advance a business loan to someone with a bad credit rating, this would be an impossibility (short of a lottery win). My partner was even refused a Career Development Loan because of our credit rating. Just interested in case there are any ways around this I might not be aware of.
Do I need to have my license to co-sign for an auto loan? I am looking to buy a car and will be going to a dealership that one of my managers from work recommended me to. I guess he knows the guys there and we are hoping they will give my fiance and I a good deal. The car I'm looking into is a used 05 Kia going for $6,995 with only 25,000 miles on it. Since I don't have my license yet, the car will be going under my fiance's name and his mother may be co-signing for it. I guess my concern is that I don't want to go through the car dealership fr financing because I know that they may not be giving us a great interest rate. If I go to a bank, like CitiBank or Capital One to get an auto loan, do I need to have my license in order to co-sign with my fiance? If I do, would it be smart to just apply for a personal loan instead? (I just established my credit.. and it's fair, I have a 681.)
How can a person get an SBA Loan with poor Credit and no Collateral? I seek serious help. I have a small business that is growing large. I need more financial venture capital, but I have poor personal credit and no Collateral. How can I obtain a SBA Loan, or a Large Bank Loan to help my business grow?
Is there a way to get an auto loan for an older car (1995)? I tried capital one and they only have auto loans for cars dated 2001 to now. Should go through a bank rather than an online auto loan lender. Personal loans I was thinking about but interest is a little more.
has anyone evr used American Capital Advance with sucess? Or is it a scam? I am attempting to get a small business loan but I want to make sure it is for real before I give all of my personal info.
I need help finding a car loan...? What I have is the title to my 1993 Buick LeSabre, which is in excellent condition and has only 45,000 miles on it. KBB says its worth around $3,000. I was hoping to get a title loan, but my local bank does not do title loans on cars over 7 years old. I tried Capital One, but you have to take a minimum loan of $7500, and I only need about $2200. Is there anywhere I could get a loan using my car is collateral? I was going to use it to pay off my credit cards and then pay back at a lower interest rate. I already have full coverage insurance on the car. My credit score is a little on the low side, so I don't think I could do a personal loan. Any ideas?
How to sell my truck? I want to sell my truck, but I've never done this before and need a little help: I have a loan through Capital One and I just found out the total payoff figure. --So if I list an ad online to sell my truck how should I ask for the payment (i.e. cash/personal check/bank loan check). If someone gets a loan from the bank to purchase my truck do I just get that check from the bank? --Also I bought my truck for a little over $8000, but I got a good deal. The truck's is in great shape and I looked at the book values online and it' listed anywhere from: $9500-$10675. Could I sell it for around this much-I mean the buyer won't know ho much I purchased it for right?
Banks have thousands of "phantom" employees . Are you one of them ? If you have a housing loan, car loan or personal loan of some sort, you are an "employee" of the bank. Why is this so ? Well, out of the $800 monthly instalment you pay for your car loan monthly, maybe at least $200 goes to paying interest to the bank. So you are 'working for the bank" to help them earn another $200 a month. The same can be said for any loan if you buy a 'depreciating' asset, meaning like a car where the value decreases with time. Properties are a bit different as you can argue that the price of the property can go up and you make a capital gain . Do you agree ? I just read in the papers of a once successful executive embezzling company funds because he owed too much money to the banks, with all kinds of loans in housing, cars, country club memberships etc. His regular job couldn't raise enough to pay the banks for which he was 'working' and sadly, he ended in jail. Yes. What Adam said about the banks "working us" is what I was trying to say. I know this sounds wierd to most of you. For me, I sold my new car to buy one that is loan free and the main reason was to free myself from the bank 'working me'. Now I have several hundred for $ a month to spend on other impt things. :=))
Need information about Capital Trust Resource Finance and what not to do? Capital Trust Resource Finance is possibly a scam and if you are thinking about accepting a loan with this company BE AWARE. Firstly, when they send you the loan docs, the docs do not resemble legal docs you receive from a trusted bank or financial institution; I know this because this would not have been my first loan. Second of all, the "Representative" that sends the docs via email sends from her hotmail email account! Any business that has a 20 year history will have internal email. Thirdly, The national BBB and Washington, DC BBB have NOTHING on CTRF. Any legitimate, publicly traded financial institution should have information about the company on their website that includes the names of the top executives, and other upper-level management and something relating to one or more of the following terms: "Financial Portfolio" or "Financial Statements" or "MD&A" which stands for Management’s Discussion and Analysis of Operating Results and Financial Position. Although it is not unheard of for a lender to request a premium payment up front prior to approving the loan; CTRF does not seem like a legitimate company you can trust sending you're money to. My husband and I have spoken with a Loan Officer from Countrywide Home Loans, a Financial Advisor from Wells Fargo Bank and a Personal Banker from Chase Bank and all three financial institutions had never heard of CTRF and the recommendation was be cautious because it sounds really scary. My advice to every one: Do your research before accepting any sort of loan or sending any money to a company you have little info. about, ask questions, contact the BBB and TRUST YOU'RE GUT FEELING! My next course of action is to contact the Washington, DC BBB and request an investigation on CTRF. We have to get these lying ba*tard* shut down!
I need $20,000 for debt consolidation - score & history is good just a lot of debt. Keep getting denied, help? I am very desperate to come on here and talk about my financial situation. I need approx. $20,000 to consolidate credit card debt... I do not have enough equity in my home (just bought it last year), I have tried personal loans through Capital One and Chase and have been denied. With Capitol, I even had my father co-sign (he's got excellent credit) and it didn't work. I have NO WHERE ELSE TO TURN. I need help, if anyone knows a forgiving lender who will look at my situation, or any other way for me to reach my goal, PLEASE let me know. Please do not refer me to a credit counseling program, for I don't use my cards anymore, I just have been paying on them for 3 years and trying to speed up things. I know I could just keep paying the most I have on one card and work them down, but I am looking for debt consolidation OPTIONS. Like a bank or organization that would help. Thank you so much for your time in advance!
How can someone with no collateral borrow $150,000 to start up a business? I do not have any substantial collateral to back such a loan, but i have very good personal credit and I have almost 15 years management experience in the field that I want to open the business in. Total startup cost for the business itself will be around 400k. The 150k would go as partial down payment on aprrox $330,000 in inventory and fixtures, with the remaining to be held as operating capital and some to be used to make a down payment on a location. Need help to get the ball rolling.
What do Barack Obama supporters think of his close and personal friend Antoin "Tony" Rezko? For a little background information on Barack's buddy and big time contributer, read this- Antoin "Tony" Rezko (born in 1955 in Aleppo, Syria) is a restaurateur and real estate developer in Chicago, Illinois. Rezko is currently facing federal charges of attempted extortion, money laundering, and fraud. In October 2006, Rezko was indicted for extortion of businesses seeking to do business with the Illinois Teachers Retirement System Board and the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Board. In addition, he has been charged with wire fraud for staging false transactions of his pizza stores in order to secure $10 million in loans from GE Capital.

Credit score of 640, will it rise? Here is my situation I'm 25 years old. I just checked my credit score, it says 640. I have two credit cards and a personal loan. My first Credit card is a small Capital One of $500. My 2nd Credit Card is a Circuit City account for $1000. My personal loan balance is $2000. Both credit cards were maxed out, plus my personal loan. I just finished paying off everything this weekend. I have no debt now. Can someone give me an estimate on what my credit score should look like, once they know everything is paid off. Should I open a Target account and a gas account, will that help or hurt my score? At, 25, Am I on the right path to excellent credit, or do I still need a lot of work? Thanks! So now that I have no more debt because I payed off my 2 credit cards and my personal loan, should I just leave the balances at zero???? Or should I buy like DVDs and stuff at Circuit city, maybe use 100 bucks and pay that off again?
Has anyone used Access Capital Management? I called them about a business loan. They said my business had no credit, but my personal credit wasn't too great. They promised to help me build business credit and then get the loan I needed to grow my business. Has anyone used them for anything?
How do I find a small business loan from an individual? I am a small business wanting to expand with additional employees, office equipment and working capital. I need an individual who can loan this money as my personal credit is not good enough to get a business loan.
I have $2000 in debt. I want to take out a loan to pay this off. What kind of loan should/could I get? I have almost $2000.00 total in credit card debt, on three different cards.(CitiCards: $1000.00, Capital One: $700.00, and Gap $200.00.) I have cut up all of my credit cards, but have yet to cancel my accounts. I have been looking for a way to consolidate this debt into one lump sum or one big balance.(The credit limit on my CitiCard is high enough to transfer over the Capital One and Gap debts, but I am wary of the balance transfer fees.) I am thinking of going to my local bank and taking out a personal loan to pay off the credit cards, and then just paying the bank off. Is this a good idea? I have an average credit score and have never missed a single credit card payment. I can afford to pay twice, sometimes three times the monthly minimum payment on each credit card - which is about $150.00 a month combined. Is there some way to consolidate all of my debt into one payment without calling a debt counselor/debt service? What type of a personal loan could/should I get if possible? HELP

Credit Experts, Please Read My Question? Hi, I'm Alex, and have a serious question for you all. One of my biggest dream is to buy a Kramer Paul Dean Signature guitar. There is one person who is selling me his model, however he wants $800.00 for it. Some things to know are the following, I do have a Capital One card, Macy's, JC Penney as well. My Capital One card does not cover that amount. Also I've already applied for two personal loans at Banner Bank & Bank of America and both declined my request. They said I didn't have enough credit history, I honestly don't know why since I always make my payments on time and never miss any payments. So I get an offer from Visa Platinum that has a $1,000 credit limit, should I accept it just to purchase my dream guitar? It does have high interest rates, but I have a feeling once the guitar is paid off, it will be worth it all. My question is this - Should I apply for that Visa Platinum to make the purchase of the guitar? Also, how much would the payments be each month?

They said I didn't have enough credit history, I honestly don't know why since I always make my payments on time and never miss any payments. So I get an offer from Visa Platinum that has a $1,000 credit limit, should I accept it just to purchase my dream guitar? It does have high interest rates, but I have a feeling once the guitar is paid off, it will be worth it all. My question is this - Should I apply for that Visa Platinum to make the purchase of the guitar? Also, how much would the payments be each month?
How do I get them to raise my line of credit?? I just paid off my 2 credit cards after keeping them at nearly their max for about a year. They are only a couple hundred dollars each. (One is Chase, one is Capital One.) I've been reading up on how to raise my credit score and realized that I need to raise my available credit in order to offset my car loan. Is that correct? In any case, between my car loan and my personal loan I owe $21,833.93 I have $800 worth of credit on my credit cards and $2200 available on a line of credit. My credit score is 673. Is it going to go up, or does that reflect the paid-off credit cards? Also, I'm 19 years old.
how can i find out if the company is legit? I am approved for personal loans no credit check just based on income(i can't qualify with the regular bank because of my fico) but they are asking for a blanket insurance before they fund the loan. The contract states that the blanket insurance is to cover for emergency (i.e. unemployment, death) and will refund the money back in 3months of consecutive payments. I am really weary sending $ especially through Western Union. Sunrise Financial Group (Canada Corp)*** which i can't find in Canada Business- what kind of documents should i ask for? Alliance Capital Financial ***registered in BBB but i can't find it under the secretary of state or department of finance in the state of Illinois which i would think they would be registered since they're lending money.
Credit Experts! PLEASE HELP!? Hi, I'm Alex and wanted to ask everyone a very important question. About a month ago I called Bank of America and applied for a personal loan, and they told me right that second I wasn't approved. Today, I got a letter from Bank of America explaining my declined application for a loan. There is a sentence that doesn't make any sense to me can you please tell me what it means? "Bank of America" After careful review, we were unable to approve your request because your credit references have not been established for a sufficient length of time and "there are too many inquiries on your credit file. What in the hell does that mean. I only have 3 credit cards, Capital One, and 2 others. As far as I know I have NEVER missed a payment or sent it in late, so why is there problems with my credit at all? Please any advice is welcome, I want to keep my score in good standing. Thanks for your time and any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Alex Also, if there is something wrong in my credit records how do I correct it. Again, I've never missed a payment and never sent it in late, so why is this happening? Oh-Oh well the first place I applied at was Banner Bank, and I bank with them they also denied my application. Then I tried BofA, I've only had my capital one credit card for about 7 months, cell phone for a year, other bills doesn't that give me any credibility?
I have fair credit with 2 of 3 bureaus, what will happen if I pay off all my credit cards? I have a fair score with Experian and Equifax. However with Transunion, its slightly poor due to late payments to Capital One.I was also told that since I have been making payments on time since then some lenders might overlook a couple late payments, which weren't really my fault anyway. I had payment protection with Capital One and they were late paying my credit card bill for me when I needed it. I'm in the process of getting a second job for the sole purpose of paying off all 5 of my credit cards ( they range from a balance of $250 to $1000, none of them exceed $1000). I'm mainly doing this because I want to raise my score because I may want to apply for a personal loan sometime this year.If I pay off all my cards around the same time, what will happen to my credit and my score? P.S. - The total that owe in credit cards is about $2900.
